Website privacy and cookie choices.
How North Tacoma Montessori Center, LLC uses information from this website, and how you can manage your choices or contact us about your information.
Effective date: October 21, 2026
What this notice covers
This notice covers North Tacoma Montessori Center, LLC (“NTMC,” “we,” or “us”) and its public website, online inquiries, and the website functions used to access general parent resources. Our website is intended for adults, including parents and guardians looking for childcare and Montessori programs.
Records maintained as part of providing childcare, including completed enrollment and health records, are outside the scope of this website notice. Contact your campus for information about those records and the appropriate way to provide information needed for your child’s care.
Information we receive
- Inquiry information you provide: your name and email address, an optional phone number, your child’s date of birth or birth month and year, the program and campus you are interested in, desired timing, and any optional question you submit. We also record your request for a reply, its time, and the version of the privacy notice shown. Required fields are identified on the form.
- Website and account information: technical information needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requests to our hosting provider, and session information. If you use the parent portal, Wix processes the information needed to authenticate access and provide the resources you request.
- Your privacy choices: the cookie preferences you select and the time and version of that choice. The website also checks for Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals to apply your browser privacy choices.
- Optional campaign information: if you allow Optional measurement in Cookie settings, limited labels identifying the source or campaign that brought you to the website. These labels can be attached to an inquiry you submit, as explained below.
- Optional advertising information: if you allow Advertising & marketing and an advertising partner has been activated, that partner can receive limited public-page activity and generic events, such as an inquiry being confirmed or a campus waitlist link being opened, together with browser, device, network and cookie information. An outbound link click does not tell us whether you registered or paid on another website.
Please keep public form questions to enrollment, tours, schedules, and other logistics. Do not include medical records, diagnoses, medication, allergies, disability details, other health information, or sensitive financial information about you or your child. Call your campus to arrange the appropriate way to discuss care needs. If you have already included health information in a website inquiry, contact us using the details below.
How we use website information
We use inquiry information to reply to your request, discuss age-appropriate programs and availability, help you reach the relevant campus, and follow up about a tour, waitlist, or enrollment question. We use operational website information to deliver pages and resources, maintain login sessions, process forms, show submission confirmations, and help protect the website.
If you choose optional measurement, we use the limited campaign labels to understand which campaigns lead to inquiries. The inquiry checkbox asks us to contact you about your request. It is separate from your cookie choices and does not subscribe you to promotional messages. Any promotional subscription must be offered separately from your inquiry.
Service providers and other websites
We use Wix for website hosting and content delivery, inquiry forms, contact records, authentication, and access to parent resources. Submitting an inquiry creates or updates a Wix contact record using the adult contact details you provide. Wix also sends an inquiry confirmation to you and notifies the NTMC team by email. Staff notifications include the information you submit, which may therefore also be retained in related email correspondence. Information needed for these services is processed through Wix and is available to NTMC personnel who handle the relevant website or inquiry functions. Wix uses service providers to operate its platform.
Wix is an international provider. Information may be processed or stored in the United States and other countries. Wix describes its practices in its Privacy Policy, data storage and transfer information, and list of service providers.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal process, or as reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect safety, or protect our legal rights.
We link to each campus’s Kinside profile for waitlist registration and any applicable waitlist fee. Kinside currently uses UrbanSitter Daycare pages for these services. Families provide registration and payment information directly to that service; NTMC’s public inquiry form does not collect a waitlist payment or automatically add a family to a Kinside waitlist. Kinside sign-in is separate from the NTMC Parent Portal.
Links to outside services, including Kinside and social media, take you to websites with their own privacy practices. Those services may collect information about your activity over time and across websites. Review their notices before providing information. Your NTMC cookie choices apply to this website and do not change another service’s cookie settings.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies and similar browser storage can remember information on your device. Our controls distinguish functions needed to operate the website, optional campaign measurement, and optional advertising and marketing. You can reject optional features and still browse the website, send an inquiry, and use the parent portal.
| Category | Purpose | Duration and control |
|---|---|---|
| Essential preferences | The ntmc_cookie_choice_v1 cookie remembers your cookie choices. |
Optional permissions last up to 180 days. An explicit advertising opt-out is remembered for up to 365 days; any measurement permission still expires after 180 days. You can change your choices sooner in Cookie settings or clear them through your browser. |
| Essential website sessions | Visitor and member session information supports inquiry forms, authentication, and requested resources. A short-lived receipt allows the website to display a confirmed inquiry message. | Browser session storage or token expiry. Session storage normally ends when the tab closes. Blocking essential storage may prevent these functions from working. |
| Optional measurement | Limited source, medium, campaign, and creative labels help identify the campaign associated with a submitted inquiry. | Off until you allow Optional measurement. Browser labels last for the tab session and are removed when you withdraw that choice. Labels already submitted with an inquiry are part of that inquiry record. |
| Advertising & marketing | With your permission, activated advertising partners can measure public-page activity and generic inquiry or waitlist-link events, and help NTMC reach interested adults. | Off until you opt in and a reviewed provider connection is active. No external advertising cookies are active in this version. Provider names, cookie details and durations will be listed when a connection is activated; you can withdraw through the footer controls. |
Wix may also use essential platform cookies for security, stability, and core website functions. The cookies set depend on the functions you use; Wix publishes cookie names, purposes, and durations in its cookie guide.
Advertising and marketing choices
Advertising & marketing is optional and starts off. This category is separate from Optional measurement and from your request that NTMC contact you. When a reviewed connection is activated and you give permission, NTMC may use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or Google advertising tools to understand campaign results and reach adults interested in our programs. Advertising providers may combine information about public website activity with information from their services or other websites to measure or personalize advertising.
Current connection status: advertising preferences are available, but no external advertising partner is activated in this version. Selecting this category does not by itself create a Facebook or Google advertising cookie. Before a connection is activated, NTMC will update the active-provider information and request any new permission needed for that connection.
We do not use the values entered in our inquiry forms, children’s details, health information, payment details, or information inside the Parent Portal, calendar or wishlist for advertising events. The website’s advertising integration is limited to public information pages and generic actions. It does not report a Kinside click as a completed waitlist registration or payment.
Meta and Google explain their own processing and choices in the Meta Privacy Policy and Google information about partner websites. Where advertising disclosure is treated as sale, sharing or targeted advertising under applicable law, turning off Advertising & marketing or using Do not sell or share my personal information stops this website’s optional advertising connection. No account is required to make that choice.
The optional campaign-label feature does not add search keywords, full referring web addresses, or full page URLs to your inquiry. Wix still processes technical information needed to provide its platform services.
Use Cookie settings in the page footer to review, accept, reject, or withdraw each optional choice at any time. Reject optional turns off measurement and advertising; the separate Do not sell or share my personal information control turns off advertising. Closing settings without saving, or continuing to browse, does not turn optional features on. Withdrawing measurement permission clears the optional campaign labels stored by this website in that browser. Withdrawing advertising permission stops further advertising events from this integration and removes advertising cookies that this website can access. A page refresh may be offered to finish unloading a previously activated provider without discarding a form you are completing. Your Parent Portal session is not cleared.
NTMC cannot remove cookies stored on another company’s domain or recall information already received by a provider. You can also use browser cookie controls and the provider’s privacy tools. An explicit advertising opt-out is retained across advertising-configuration changes while its preference cookie remains valid.
If you want us to remove campaign labels already attached to an inquiry, contact us below. Changing browser settings alone cannot remove information already received by NTMC. We will handle a request about that information under applicable privacy law. Your separately requested inquiry can still be handled without optional campaign measurement.
Browser privacy signals: when this website detects Global Privacy Control (GPC) or a Do Not Track (DNT) setting of 1, it keeps optional features off, including when an earlier cookie choice allowed them. This control applies in the browser sending the signal. The absence of either signal does not turn optional features on; you must choose to allow them.
Retention and security
How long website information is retained depends on the purpose of the record: whether an inquiry or follow-up is still active, whether information is needed to provide a requested service, the need to maintain security and address disputes, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Browser preference and session durations are described above. An inquiry stored in Wix or retained in related correspondence does not expire simply because its browser session ends.
You can ask us about information we hold and request deletion using the contact details below. Any information that must be retained will remain subject to applicable protections; deletion may also depend on provider processes and backup cycles.
The website uses HTTPS connections and Wix services to support transmission security and authenticated access. No website or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Keep parent portal credentials private and contact us if you believe access or information has been misused.
Information about children
Parents and guardians may provide a child’s date of birth or birth month and year so we can respond to an inquiry about suitable programs. These public forms are intended to be completed by adults. We do not invite children under 13 to submit information directly or create an account through this website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly, please contact us so we can address it.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact us to ask what website information we hold about you, request access, correct information, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Depending on the law that applies and the information involved, you may also have rights to withdraw consent, object to or limit certain processing, opt out of a sale or sharing of information for targeted advertising, or appeal a decision on your request.
For requests to access, correct or delete personal records, we may need to verify your identity or your authority to act for a child or another person. Advertising opt-out through the website controls does not require identity verification. Please describe a request about records and the email address you used for your inquiry; do not send health records or passwords. We will respond under the requirements of applicable law and explain if we cannot fulfill all or part of a request. You may ask us to review that decision using the same contact details. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator or attorney general.

Changes to this notice
