Our new 34th Street Nature Center location opened in January 2021.
We accept ages 4 weeks - 6 years at this location.
We are open Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:30pm (max 10 hours/day).
We provide a mix of Montessori works, outside play and music every day.
Each age-group has a developmentally appropriate outside space to explore.
Gardening, Yoga, ASL and Spanish are incorporated into weekly lesson plans.
Gymnastics, Soccer and Kindermusik are all available during school hours with an extra fee.
Breakfast, Lunch, and PM snack are provided.

I have been a part of North Tacoma Montessori Center since December 2017. My daughter also started attending at the same time. From the moment we joined this team, I have felt like I have a large second family. These teachers have helped my husband and I through being first time parents and taking on all big childhood milestones together! I could not ask for a better group of men and women to be a part of our tribe as parents and know that she is receiving the best care possible while allowing us to focus on our jobs during the day. The love and care that Kate and Lynne' show for us employees has been so overwhelmingly positive and empowering. They inspire me to constantly better myself while also encouraging my passions and hobbies outside work. I am so proud to work for North Tacoma Montessori Center and am so grateful with how they have helped my child flourish. I have no doubt that she will be ready for the next step in her academic journey after she graduates from this program. There is absolutely no quality care better than that provided to both myself and child than there is at NTMC!
